Breeze Systems has released version 2.5 of their photo booth application DSLR Remote Pro for Windows. Some very cool new features have been added in this release including new screens, new cameras, improved image processing and more.
This release adds support for the Canon EOS-1D X and includes the following enhancements for photo booth shooting:
- Adds support for the Canon ESO-1D X.
- Movies can now be used to animate the photobooth screens e.g. use a movie to provide instructions in the ready screen or to provide a fancy animated countdown before taking each photo
- Post processing options in photo booth mode for easier website and social networking site uploads. This allows the JPEG copy of the printed output to be cropped, resized and copied to another folder where it can be automatically uploaded to Facebook using free cloud based services such as Dropbox and WappWolf
- Now uses a faster resize method to reduce the time it takes prepare images for printing with minimal reduction in image quality
- Added options to reprint photo booth photos after an event.
This release is a free upgrade for all registered users who purchased a license within the last year. You can download this latest release on their website.
