The author of dslrBooth has released update 1.0.243 for the Mac version of their software. This release appears to bring the feature set back into parity with its Windows sibling.
As I mentioned in the Windows update post this release looks to bring the product closer to commercial ready as it addresses some usability issues present in previous releases.
This release introduces the following new features:
- Addition of a large start button for automatic shutter (timer) setups.
- Addition of large countdown before taking photos so guests can easily see when the photo will be taken.
- Renamed “archive” directory to “originals” so that it is more obvious where the original photos go.
Bug fixes in this release include:
- Fixed a memory leak when shooting jpg images of larger sizes.
